#Re install adobe flash plugin download#
It's no real solution, but to those who also get the white screen, try playing the Doom triple pack, download whatever version of flash it links you to, and try again, maybe it works. So in other words, downgrading my flashplayer disposed of the white screen bug (at least for the escape games, don't know about other games that I encountered so far with that problem). But now with that flashplayer 10 downloaded, the escape games by selfdeviant work again, like they used to in the old flash times. The other 2 games there require the use of the Enter key again, so I still can't play those. So I did it, in hopes it would work, and it did, I was able to play Doom. I also encountered a few games that didn't load and just offered a white screen, which were most of the escape games by Since I last tried playing them, I came across the Doom triple pack, which required me to download flashplayer 10 (although I already had a more recent version downloaded). Usually the game's music keeps playing, dunno if that's helpful in any way. Every game that I tried, that requires that key at some point, is absolutely unplayable, since the whole NG player freezes at the moment I press it, forcing me to close it via right-click, because even the window itself won't respond anymore. I'm also having the problem/bug with the Enter key.

Windows 7, Chrome, not really sure what else to put or where to get info Without this initial hiccup there would be no succes. We are the population and troubleshooters who will eventually shape and figure out the problems. Whenever a new product is put it it goes through the same growing pains.

Theres no help section on it because its literally being put in deployment for the first time. I hope they can resolve this eventually, but for the time-being, I will no longer use Newgrounds. Its literally brand new. It seems their help section is completely unprepared for the flood of technical issues. Computer, operating system, browser, browser version, etc. I don't know what it is that I'm doing different or what my machine is doing different than everyone else's, but I havent had a single problem with it yet. Without this initial hiccup there would be no succes.Īlso mine works completely fine.

I hope they can resolve this eventually, but for the time-being, I will no longer use Newgrounds. I get the same "requires plugins" prompt whenever i boot up a game, despite reinstalling flash plugins multiple timesNone of the above worked for me, despite cleanly uninstalling, updating the NG player, uninstalling flash, installing a specified windows 7, chromium version.
